Residence Hall
along the Hudson River
The dorms at The College of Mount Saint Vincent are really lovely and sit on bluffs above the Hudson River. The views are spectacular and there’s lots of room to stretch out on the grassy hills and watch the river flow by. There’s also a great patio to enjoy the sunset over the river. A great place to live! In the dorm there’s the same common space where the college kids hang out at night, with TVs, couches tables and chairs. We love just kicking it with our new friends at night. For many of our students, it is the time in the dorm that really defines their experience at the animal camp. This is a great way to get a feel for what college will be like!
College classrooms
Great places to learn!
We are in the same classrooms college kids enjoy during the year. So we get high-speed internet and advanced equipment. We are committed to an extraordinary classroom experience that allows for hands-on learning with talented, trained instructors and a proprietary curriculum designed to jump-start your knowledge of animals.
Safe & Secure
24-hour staff and gated entrance
We are located in a great neighborhood and boarded by a gothic wall and the Hudson River. The gated entrance is staffed 24 hours a day and the campus itself is wonderful safe haven where our students get to experience life on a college campus.
DINING Hall
Fresh, savory, and many options
Residential students eat all their on-campus meals in the dining halls and the day students join us for lunch. These bright sparkling dining halls are serving fresh, hot food, often to order, and with clear vegetarian and vegan options at all meals. Food allergies can be handled with notice; eat local and enjoy the yumminess!
OFF-CAMPUS FIELD TRIPS
Get hands-on experience off campus
Each session at each location features off-campus field trips. Last summer we visited a nature center where the students got to meet lots of cool animals in person! Check out our photo gallery of past trips below.
College Of Mount St Vincent: Activities and Events on Campus
Event nights: After dinner we make time for organized, curated, planned and extensive fun activities, events and gatherings. We take advantage of the campus in all the ways that allow for our students to experience what life on a college campus will be for them in the near future! Try vet school while you try on college life all while making new friends!
Student Center and Quad: The MSV campus is loaded with fun stuff to do. The same places the college kids go during the year. Student center, campus store, snacks, coffee shop…. and the quad. Grab a snack and chill in the evening after class with your new friends!
Outdoor Patio Overlooking The Hudson: One of our favorite spots on campus is the patio on the hill overlooking the river. It’s green and beautiful! A great place to chill out and play cards, do puzzles, or just have fun with your new people!
